Turkey will deliver the remaining half of a 2-billion-dollar aid package to Egypt in the next two months, local media reported on Wednesday.
Turkey agreed to lend 1 billion dollars to Egypt during Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi's visit last September with the aim to help the Arab country to deal with its dwindling foreign currency reserves.
Within two months, Turkey's Eximbank will deliver another 1 billion dollars in aid to Egypt, the report said, adding that the Egyptian side is completing deal's requirements at the moment.
While the first half of the package was in the form of a loan, the second half will be investments in Turkish companies in Egypt and partnerships in infrastructure projects, said the report. Endi
