Libyan PM arrives in Algeria for talks on bilateral ties

Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zaidan arrived here Tuesday on unannounced visit to Algeria to hold talks with Algerian officials on boosting bilateral ties, the state-run APS news agency reported, citing a statement of the Algerian Prime Minister Office.

According to the statement, Zaidan held talks with his Algerian counterpart Abdelmalek Sellal on issues of common concern along with tackling ways to consolidate cooperation.

No further details about this visit have been unveiled so far.

Algeria and Libya have launched cooperation in the security field, as Algerian police are providing training to the Libyan security services. In this respect, a delegation of Libyan senior security officers visited Algeria last month to enhance cooperation in security domains. Endi
