Myanmar petanque athletes under joint-training in Thailand

Myanmar petanque athletes are under joint-training for two months in Thailand, according to sports circle Thursday.

The team including 18 male athletes and 15 femele athletes left for Thailand on May 8.

The team had been undergoing training under two Thai coaches in Gold Camp of Nay Pyi Taw since March 3 in preparation for 27th SEA Games.

The team will also participate in a petanque invitational in Brunei.

After the event in Brunei, they will also proceed to Laos for one-month joint training there.

Petanque was one of 33 games included in 27th SEA Games to be hosted for the first time in Myanmar in coming December. Endi
