Iran's Esteghlal vowed to advance to the semifinals of the AFC Champions League without conceding a goal in the quarterfinals, Tehran Times daily reported on Wednesday.

On Aug. 21, Esteghlal beat Thailand's Buriram United 1-0 in the first leg of the quarterfinal in Tehran's Azadi Stadium.

Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei said, "I think our priority in the match should be not conceding a goal, however we are concentrating to score goal as well."

"Buriram is a dangerous team but we are Esteghlal too and we want to win the AFC Champions League title. I think we can win the championship," he added. Endit
