The UN nuclear agency on Tuesday said thanks to Iran's new proposals, the new round of talks between the two sides was "very productive," covering the past and present issues in the two-day meeting.

The words came from a rare joint statement after the talks between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran.

The statement said the new proposal of practical measures Iran presented is "a constructive contribution to strengthen cooperation and dialogue with the view of future resolution of all the outstanding issues."

Both sides agreed to continue the talks on Nov. 11 in Tehran.

"The ultimate goal is to resolve all the remaining issues in the future," Iranian envoy Reza Najafi said, emphasizing the proposal Iran presented would open a new charpter of the cooperation between the two sides.

Tero Varjoranta, IAEA deputy director general in charge of nuclear inspections, told reporters that Parchin issue, a military site suspected to carry out experiment relevent to nuclear weapon development, is included in the agreement which both side are working together to address.

He said he expects to finalize the resolution in the next round of talks in Tehran, "we expect to get our work done as soon as possible."

IAEA chief Yukiya Amano met with Iran's deputy foreign minister Abbas Araqchi on Monday, both sides said the meeting was important as Iran has present a new idea of cooperation, which would facilitate the talks and cooperation.

IAEA and Iran have held 12 rounds of meetings since the agency reported nuclear bomb trigger tests might be carried out in Parchin military site in 2011 winter, which Iran denies, saying the information IAEA got was forged and provided by Western spy agency.

IAEA demands Iran to open access to the site but Iran refused, as the inspection of the site is already beyond the Safeguard Agreement.

Western countries have been long accusing Iran of developing nuclear weapons under the cover of a civilian nuclear program, but Iran says the suspicion is baseless and fabricated, noting its nuclear program is for peaceful purpose only. Endi
