Thailand breezed past Vietnam 7-1 to retain their men's futsal title at the 27th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games here on Friday.

Thailand dominated all the champion slots of the AFF Futsal Championships except one for Indonesia.

Thailand's brilliant counter-attacking strategy in the final earned them the drubbing 7-1 to the rivals.

Vietnam finished second and Indonesia got the third.

The SEA Games is held from Dec. 11-22 in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and Nge Saung beach in Pathein with the theme of 'Green, Clean, and Friendship'.

Over 6,000 athletes and officials from 11 ASEAN countries participate in the biggest biennial tournament of the region. Endi
