SANTIAGO -- The Chilean Electoral Court on Friday announced the country's opposition candidate Michelle Bachelet had won Chile's runoff presidential election in December and declared her as the president-elect.

NEW DELHI -- Devyani Khobragade, the Indian woman diplomat expelled by the United States, arrived in the Indian capital on an Air India passenger plane Friday night from New York, said local TV channel NDTV.

KHARTOUM -- South Sudan's army on Friday regained control of Bantio, the capital city of the oil-producing Unity State from rebels loyal to former vice-president Riek Machar, a South Sudanese army's spokesman told Xinhua.
