Polish banks posted a 9 million U.S. dollars in net profit in January and February, down 7.1 percent year-on-year, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) reported on its website on Tuesday.
Banking income amounted to 3 billion dollars, up slightly from the previous year.
Operating costs reached 1.5 billion dollars, going up by 0.7 percent against the first two months of 2013.
