Serbia's outgoing Prime Minister and Leader of the Socialist Party Ivica Dacic said that he is going to be the foreign minister in the future Serbian government.

Socialists that won 44 out 250 mandates at the elections will have three cabinet posts in the government.

Commenting on the cooperation with Serbian Progressive Party, winner of March 16 parliamentary elections, Dacic said that there is a wide consensus with them over the key goals that need to be achieved.

"Those are, first to stop country's economic downfall, continue European integrations and build good cooperation with Russia, China and our neighbors," Dacic said on Saturday, before the session of the Main Board of Socialist Party of Serbia.

He said that Serbia plans to complete all administrative tasks regarding EU accession until 2018 so it can become a member state in 2020.

Serbian National Assembly on Sunday will vote, after which a government of 19 members -- with Aleksandar Vucic from the Progressive Party as the Prime Minister, 16 ministers, and two ministers without portfolio, will be sworn in. Endi
