Two killed in wall collapse in Mumbai

Two people were killed when a compound wall of an open plot collapsed following incessant rains in India's financial capital Mumbai Sunday, one day after three were killed in building collapses, said police.

The incident took place at a compound wall on Ratan Tata road near Parsi colony in Tardeo area of south Mumbai, said police.

Three people were killed and six injured in two separate incidents of building collapse here Saturday.

Two pavement dwellers were killed and another injured when a portion of a building fell on them while they were sleeping in Jai Bhim Nagar, while one person was killed and six others injured when an under-construction building collapsed in Colaba, south Mumbai.

In March, seven people died and several others injured after a seven-storey residential building collapsed in Mumbai's Santacruz area. Endi
