The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) Friday has rerouted flights after the deadly crash of the Malaysia Airlines' MH17.

The CAVV said on its website on Friday that it has asked the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines to detour flights between Vietnam and the European countries to bypass the flight information regions of Ukraine, especially in eastern area and in Simferopol flight information region.

Vietnam Airlines was asked to watch closely on flight plans and direct airlines over the adjustment.
