Russian Dmitry Chudinov, who holds the belt of a regular middleweight world champion of WBA, has declared his readiness to compete against Kazakhstan's Gennady Golovkin, current WBA and IBO champion of the same weight category, reported by Chempionat.com.
"I am not just ready, but eager for this fight to happen, as a young bold fellow, willing to compete with these great boxers. Why am I practicing if I haven't tested myself in such a fight?" Chudinov said.
"Many people say that Mr. Gennady Golovkin has got no rivals, but I am here, the regular WBA champion Mr. Dmitry Chudinov," the Russian said.
On August 9, Chudinov is to meet Frenchman Mehdi Buadla in Sevastopol, which will be the first to defend his championship belt.
Golovkin knocked out Australian Daniel Geale during the third round to defend his WBA and IBO titles on July 27 in New York. Endite
