Tajikistan will further promote trade and other cooperation with China, says the head of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

Sharif Said made the remarks on Thursday when meeting a Chinese business delegation led by Cheng Guangtian, head of the third division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC).

The two sides discussed ways to promote trade and economic cooperation, stressing that the stability of Tajikistan-China relations is based on trust and enduring partnership.

They also decided to work together in industry, investment, exhibitions, business, and education.

Said suggested the two sides organize an exhibition of Chinese products and hold a bilateral business forum in Dushanbe.

For his part, Cheng expressed the XPCC's readiness to promote its products in the Tajik market.

The XPCC is a unique economic and semi-military governmental organization in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. Endi
