Tesla unveils electric car charging station in Slovenia

Electric carmaker Tesla Motors on Thursday opened its first supercharger station on the outskirts of Ljubljana, thus making travel further south in Europe possible for owners of electric cars.

The charging station, powered with 100 percent green energy, is situated close to the busy Ljubljana Ring Road.

Tesla Model S, a luxury car made by Tesla Motors, can travel 250 km after a 20-minute recharge, according to a statement by the U.S. car company.

In consideration of its potential clients in the region, Tesla Motors plans to install at least two more charging facilities in Slovenia, said sources close to the company. Endit
