Tajikistan' s football club "Istiklol" announced on Thursday the signing of Spanish striker Manuel Bleda Rodriguez (also known as Manolo Bleda) on a contract until November, 2014.

According to the Istiklol FC, Manuel Rodriguez, who played for Belarusian FC Belshina Bobruisk, will continue his career in Tajik Premier League. The 24-year-old forward has moved to FC Istiklol on a free transfer.

In this season, Manuel Rodriguez played 20 matches for Belshina Bobruisk, scoring seven goals and recoding one assist. He is among the top scorers in Belarusian Premier League.

Rodriguez started playing football for Levante and moved to Belarusian Belshina Bobruisk in the beginning of seasons 2014.

Istiklol' s recruit is the first Spanish soccer player who will play in Tajik Premier League.

Rodriguez will wear the number 10 shirt and join the team in mid-September.
