Pyongyang Int'l Film Festival kicks off

The Pyongyang International Film Festival, which will feature more than 100 films from over 40 countries and international organizations, opened Wednesday at the Ponghwa Art Theater.

A five-member jury led by Russian director Kosyrev Mikhail will decide on various awards.

Five Chinese movies and "Meet in Pyongyang," a film jointly produced by China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), will be screened at the biennial film festival, first held in 1987. Endi
