The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) has approved Nov. 23, for the grand finale of 2014 Men and Women Federation Cup competitions.

The date was endorsed by the NFA Board at a meeting in Abuja, the nation's capital city, according to a statement issued by Ademola Olajire, the FA's spokesperson on Friday.

The statement said holding the final on this date will still leave enough time for Nigeria's flag-bearers in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup to register for the competition.

The competitions, designed for both men and women, had suffered a couple of postponements due to the crises that rocked the NFA.

The competition will see defending champions Enyimba FC of Aba play Dolphins of Port Harcourt in the men's final, while Rivers Angels and Sunshine Queens of Akure will slug it out in the women's final.

The grand finale, which will be played same day at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, is sponsored by the Lagos State Government. Endi
