The benchmark DAX index at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Wednesday hardly changed and gained only 6 points.
The blue-chip index gained by 0.06 percent and closed at 9,799.73 points as concerns about Greece's restructuring program reemerged.
Infineon Technologies AG, a semiconductor company, continued its recent upward trend and rose by 1.3 percent. Henkel AG & Co. KGaA Vz, a home care company, rose by 1.13 percent. BMW AG St advanced by 1 percent. Deutsche Boerse AG added 0.97 percent and Bayer AG went up by 0.92 percent.
Deutsche Telekom AG dropped by 2.42 percent, followed on the fallers' list by adidas AG, down by 2.18 percent. Commerzbank AG slid by 1.4 percent. Deutsche Bank AG lost 0.76 percent and LANXESS AG, a specialty chemicals company, went down by 0.61 percent.
The turnover stood at 3.11 billion euros (about 3.87 billion U.S. dollars). Deutsche Telekom AG was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 272.99 million euros. (1 euro = 1.24 U.S. dollars). Endit
