Canada scores 3rd straight win at women's soccer tourney

Canada rallied from behind to beat China 2-1 for their third consecutive win in the "BaoAn Cup" CFA international women's soccer tournament here on Thursday.

As a rehearsal of 2015 Women's World Cup opener, the match attracted thousands of home fans as well as many Canadians to support the World Cup host country.

China found the net first with Gu Yasha's sudden volley in the 30th minute.

In the 62nd minute, Canada hit the equaliser from the spot as Josse Belanger was floored within the box and Christine Sinclair converted the penalty.

Within two minutes, Sinclair scored her second and the winner.

"To win the (2015) World Cup for Canada," said Canada coach John Herdman, "It's once-in-a-lifetime chance for the players and fans at home."
