Boko Haram terrorist group burnt down a village in Niger's southeast region of Bosso, near the Nigerian border, killing two fishermen, a local radio station reported Monday.

The terrorists are also reported to have destroyed a mobile telephone operator's installations in Maine-Soroa, some 150 km west of Bosso.

After being defeated by Niger's Defense and Security forces, Boko Haram has resorted to carrying out isolated attacks in Diffa region, especially along Komadougou river which forms the border between Niger and Nigeria.

Since Feb. 6, 2015, Nigerian localities of Bosso and Diffa have come under repeated attacks by Boko Haram from its positions in Nigeria.
