Turkey detained four foreign journalists trying to illegally cross into Turkey from northern Syria, the state-run Anatolia news agency reported on Thursday.
One of the detained foreign journalists was deported from Turkey, while proceedings for the remaining three others are still ongoing, according to the report.
Two of the journalists were from Germany, one from Brazil, and the other from the United States, said the report.
The four foreign journalists were caught while crossing over Turkish borders, Turkish official Selahattin Hasimi was quoted as saying. Endit
