Zhou Yilin claims 4th swimming gold for China at Universiade

Zhou Yilin claimed the fourth swimming gold for China by winning the women's 200m butterfly at the 2015 Gwangju Summer University Games here on Friday.

Zhou threw down a blistering time of two minutes and 7.69 seconds to win the crown. Pllieri Alessia of Italy snatched the silver in 2:08.66, and Flickinger Hali of the United States settled for a bronze in 2:08.80.

China won four swimming golds and two silvers so far, placing third on the swimming medal table at the Universiade. The United States topped the table with 15-9-7, followed by Japan with 5-6-8.

Lu Ying set a Universiade record in the women's 50m butterfly to win China's first swimming gold last Sunday, and added the third by taking the title of women's 100m butterfly after Zhang Sishi grabbed China's second gold in the women's 200m individual medley on Tuesday. Endit
