The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) mostly closed lower on Monday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 11 U.S. dollars, or 0.22 percent, to 4,947 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 22 U.S. dollars, or 1.41 percent, to 1,540 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 21 U.S. dollars, or 1.13 percent, to 1,834 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 16 U.S. dollars, or 0.89 percent, to 1,785 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 175 U.S. dollars, or 1.99 percent, to 8,637.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 75 U.S. dollars, or 0.45 percent, to 16,925 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
