China's Huang secures third gold of Rio Paralympics

China's Huang Wenpan smashed his own world record to clinch his third gold medal of the Rio Paralympics in the men's 50m breaststroke SB2 on Wednesday.

Huang touched the wall in 50.65 seconds, to beat his previous mark of 52.48 at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium.

It was a clean sweep of medals for China with Li Tingshen taking silver in the event in 51.78 and Huang Chaowen bronze in 54.29.

Huang also won the mixed 4x50 freestyle 20 points on Friday and the 50m freestyle S3 on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old was born with with cerebral palsy and started swimming in 2010. Endit
