Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen visited the Thai embassy here Monday to pay his respect to late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who died last week at the age of 88.

At the embassy, the prime minister wrote in a condolence book, expressing condolences over the death of the king.

"On behalf of the Royal Government and people of Cambodia, I extend my heartfelt sympathies and profound condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and all members of royal family, as well as the Government and the people of Thailand for the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the most revered King of Thailand and the longest reigning monarch in the world, on Oct. 13, 2016," he wrote in the book.

"His death is a great loss not only for Thailand and the Thai people, but also for all friends around the world," Hun Sen said. Endit
