Two killed in ultralight plane crash in Denmark

COPENHAGEN, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Two men were killed on Monday afternoon when an ultralight plane crashed near Holbaek, around 70 km west of Danish captial city of Copenhagen, local media reported.

Central and West Zealand Police were notified of the flight crash at 5:18 p.m. local time, the Danish news agency Ritzau reported, citing a press release from the police.

Two men in the plane, aged 56 and 61 respectively, were found killed, according to Ritzau. The relatives of the victims have been notified of the accident.

It was reported that the plane departed at 4:50 p.m. from Roskilde Airport, some 40 km west of Copenhagen.

An investigation into the cause of the plane crash is under way. Enditem
