FRANKFURT, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 11.86 points, or 0.09 percent, to close at 13,003.14 points.
Multinational chemical firm Linde won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.50 percent. German building materials company HeidelbergCement and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 1.38 percent and 1.19 percent respectively.
Housing association Vonovia lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.85 percent. Deutsche Bank and European mass media company ProSiebenSat.1 went down by 1.34 percent and 1.33 percent respectively.
Linde was the most-traded share with a turnover of 257.17 million euros (301.91 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
