Chinese watercolor artist holds personal exhibition at British museum

LONDON, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- A cross-cultural watercolor painting solo exhibition by Chinese artist Feng Sixiao has been held at the British Museum from Tuesday to Wednesday, gaining high remarks from British artists.

The exhibition, Dialogue with Nature, has showcased over 50 paintings by Feng, member of the China Artist Association.

In decades of overseas exchanges, travels and studies, Feng has been enlightened by several types of Western art of painting and determines to combine the characters and advantages of Western and Chinese paintings, to make distinctively, delightful and vivid pictures.

The 69-year-old artist has established his own art style. His watercolor works were used as case studies in teachings and some of his paintings were used in arts textbooks. Enditem
