LONDON, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.10 percent, or 7.60 points, to close at 7,409.64 points.

Paddy Power Betfair, a large British bookmaking business, soared 3.22 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. TUI and 3i Group increased by 1.80 percent and 1.70 percent, respectively.

The British housebuilding company Persimmon was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.58 percent.
