Tokyo shares fell in morning on gains lock-in

TOKYO, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo shares dropped Monday morning as investors cautiously locked in earlier gains.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average shed 75.87 points, or 0.34 percent, from Friday to 22,474.98.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 1.62 points, or 0.09 percent, to 1,778.94.
