HONG KONG -- An official delegation from China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) is seeking closer ties in economic and other areas with Indonesia as well as ASEAN under the Hong Kong-ASEAN free trade agreement (FTA) and the Belt and Road Initiative.

TOKYO -- Japanese investigators on Wednesday began a probe into a protracted data-fabrication scandal by Kobe Steel Ltd., that authorities believe might have violated an unfair competition law, which could result in criminal charges.

KABUL -- At least one person was wounded in a blast in downtown Afghan capital of Kabul on Wednesday, which caused panic among pedestrians, a media relation official of Kabul police said.
