--Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Monday briefed members of the parliament (MP) on current affairs.

--Yinager Dessie has been appointed as governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), replacing Teklewold Atnafu.

--Ethiopia and Portugal last week signed an Air Service bilateral agreement to enhance aviation services in the two countries.
