FRANKFURT, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index increasing 62.03 points, or 0.52 percent, to close at 12,032.30 points.
German airlines Lufthansa won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up by 1.82 percent. Multinational chemical firm Linde and renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical rose by 1.46 percent and 1.41 percent respectively.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 5.43 percent. Energy group E.ON went down by 3.66 percent. Energy group RWE decreased by 3.58 percent.
Multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer was the most-traded share with a turnover of 316.14 million euros (366.24 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
