HANOI, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Seven people died, suspected of suffering from drug overdose, during a music show in Vietnam's Hanoi capital on Sunday night, local media reported on Monday.

At least eight people were hospitalized late last night after attending the festival named "Trip to the Moon" at a water park in Tay Ho district, part of an electronic music festival named Vietnam Electronic Weekend, online newspaper VnExpress quoted the district's senior officials as reporting. Seven people have died, the officials said on Monday morning.

With three modern grand stages, the music show attracted thousands of audience.

Some audience have remained hospitalized, and local police have suspected that the victims had suffered from drug overdose when enjoying the show, online newspaper Tien Phong (Pioneer) quoted the district's authorities as reporting. Enditem
