BEIJING, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- The following is a selection of latest posts on social media.

The two Koreas agreed on Oct. 15 to hold a start the construction to modernize and connect roads as well as railways around the end of November or early December this year at the high-level talk on that day at Peace House in Panmunjeom.

Particularly, the two sides agreed to hold general-grade military talks at an early date to discuss ending the military hostilities and to coordinate the operation of the inter-Korean joint military committee as mentioned in the Agreement on the Implementation of the Panmunjeom Declaration in the Military Domain.

Just spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia who totally denied any knowledge of what took place in their Turkish Consulate. He was with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during the call, and told me that he has already started, and will rapidly expand, a full and complete investigation into this matter.
