LUSAKA, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Sunday.

-- The Zambian government has been urged to seriously consider enlisting Czech Republic media to attract visitors to Zambia.

Head of African affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Nicol Adamova said media reports have demonstrated their impact on tourism. (Times of Zambia)

-- Five people have died after a wall of a drainage they were digging collapsed on them in Solwezi.

The deaths come hardly five months after small-scale miners died when part of a dump site collapsed on them in Kitwe, amid concerns about excavation safety. (Zambia Daily Mail)

-- Zambia has supported the motion that the selection panel for the senior leadership of the African Union should comprise former presidents, former foreign ministers and former chairpersons of the AU Commission with regional representation.

Vice President Inonge Wina, who is attending the 11th Extraordinary Summit for AU Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, said the decisive development to reform the AU richly contributes to the attainment of the Agenda 2063, a strategic framework for the economic transformation of the continent over the next 50 years.
