Iran opens permanent business center in Kyrgyzstan's capital

TEHRAN, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Iran has opened a business center in Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek to promote trade ties with the Central Asian country, Eghtesadonline news website reported Sunday.

The center, named Iran's Business House in Bishkek, was opened on Tuesday, Eghtesadonline said.

Both Iranian and Kyrgyz officials attended the opening ceremony, including Alireza Daliri, Iranian vice president for science and technology, Iranian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, and Marat Sharshekeev, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Kyrgyz Republic.

Senior executives of 30 Iranian knowledge-based companies and more than 100 Kyrgyz traders were also present.

The products of 50 Iranian knowledge-based companies and 30 Iranian firms in the fields of agriculture, mining and industrial machines, textile, food, polymer and plastic, construction and electronics will be permanently displayed at the business center. Enditem
