SANAA, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Yemen's Houthi rebels said a child was killed on Sunday in a Saudi-led coalition projectile attack on Yemen's northern border province of Saada, rebel-controlled Saba news agency reported.

Another child was injured in the attack targeting Ghafirah village in Dhahir district, Saba said.

No comment was available from the coalition.

The Iran-allied Yemeni Houthi rebels and the Saudi-led coalition forces supporting the Yemeni internationally recognized government regularly exchange missile and projectile attacks over the Yemeni-Saudi border.

Last week, the rebels said a coalition projectile attack on Razih district in Saada, key stronghold of Houthis, killed a woman and injured two others.

Saudi Arabia is leading an Arab military coalition that intervened in Yemen in March 2015 to support the government of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi after the Houthi rebels forced him into exile.

Saudi Arabia accuses Iran of aggravating instability in Yemen by supplying Houthi rebels with weapons, despite repeated denials from Houthis and Iran. Enditem
