WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday that migrants seeking asylum in the United States via the southern border will wait in Mexico while their claims are moving through legal procedures.

"Migrants at the Southern Border will not be allowed into the United States until their claims are individually approved in court," he tweeted Saturday evening. "All will stay in Mexico." (US-Mexico-Refugee)

NEW DELHI -- India has deputed its two union ministers to attend the ground-breaking ceremony of the Kartarpur Sahib pilgrimage corridor for Indian pilgrims to be held in Pakistan on Wednesday.

Pakistan had invited India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to attend the ceremony. However, Swaraj cited her pre-committed political engagements midst forthcoming elections in several states as the reason for not able to attend the ceremony. (India-Pakistan-Corridor)

TRIPOLI -- Libyan army and security forces killed 12 Islamic State militants near the southeastern town of Tazerbu after a deadly attack Friday, said a military source late on Saturday.

"Joint forces of military battalions and security elements chased a number of remnants of the terrorists, who were hiding in the uninhabited site west of Tazerbu," the source said. (Libya-Militants-IS)

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- At least six militants and a trooper were killed Sunday in a predawn fierce gunfight in restive Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.

The gunfight erupted early Sunday at village Kapran-Batagund of Shopian district, about 65 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir. (India-Kashmir-Gunfight) Enditem
