Seven killed in taxi accident in S. Africa

JOHANNESBURG, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- At least seven people were killed after a taxi crashed into a truck on Sunday in Limpopo province, South Africa.

The accident happened on N1 high way between Kranskop and Mookgophong.

"The dead were travelling in a taxi that crashed into a truck in the early morning of Sunday," Provincial transport and community safety department spokesperson Matome Moremi-Tauatsoala told local media,

According to an official in the province, a forensic team was busy working through the wreckage.

In September, more than 40 people died in separate accidents within a 20 km radius of the current scene. Enditem
