HARARE, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Zimbabwe's major media outlets on Monday.

-- Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube has invoked the Customs and Excise Act and imposed duty in foreign currency on an array of goods that include vehicles and meat, in line with the 2019 National Budget Statement he presented last week.

The other affected imports include horticultural products, cosmetics and selected fruits. (The Herald)

-- The ruling ZANU-PF overwhelmingly won the Mutoko North by-election held on Saturday, reaffirming the ruling party's popularity as shown by the July 30 harmonized elections where it scored more than two thirds majority in Parliament. (The Herald)

-- More than 150, 000 vehicles whose owners failed to renew their licenses for two years as of July 31 this year face de-registration once the notice has been published in the Government Gazette, Transport and Infrastructural Development Minister Joel Biggie Matiza has said. (The Herald)
