ULAN BATOR, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Power supply has been restored in western Mongolia where strong winds caused a three-day blackout, the country's Ministry of Energy said Thursday.

According to the ministry, power was fully restored at around 4:30 a.m. local time Thursday (2030 GMT on Wednesday) in a total of 52 soums (administrative subdivisions) in Bayan-Ulgii, Khovd, Uvs, Govi-Altai and Zavkhan provinces.

Early Sunday morning, strong winds knocked down many houses and a 330-kilovolt power line, cutting off electricity in the soums. Enditem
