SINGAPORE, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.26 percent or 8.17 points to close at 3117.61.
A total of 1.73 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.95 billion Singapore dollars (about 1.43 billion U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 186 to 171.
The STI index went up 0.48 percent or 14.96 points to close at 3109.44 on Thursday. Enditem
