MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. leader Donald Trump are unlikely to hold talks in the near future after the latter canceled their scheduled meeting in Argentina, the Kremlin said Saturday.

The Russian and the U.S. administrations were in contact after Trump called off his meeting with Putin on Thursday, but the two sides reached no agreement, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was quoted by Russian media as saying. (Putin-Trump-Meeting)

WASHINGTON -- A small plane on Saturday afternoon crashed into a building in Fort Lauderdale in U.S. southeastern state Florida, leaving two dead and one injured, the authorities said.

The pilot and passenger aboard the plane were dead following the fiery crash into an occupied therapy center for children with autism, local media quoted Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Stephen Gollan as saying. (Florida-Plane Crash)

PARIS -- French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner on Saturday said 110 people were injured after a third weekend nationwide social movement, opposing higher tax and poor revenue, turned violent and plunged the world's top tourist destination into chaos.
