FRANKFURT, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 208.22 points, or 1.85 percent, to close at 11,465.46 points.
Automotive manufacturer BMW won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.88 percent. Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 4.53 percent and 4.33 percent respectively.
Housing association Vonovia lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 3.22 percent. German airlines Lufthansa down by 1.30 percent. Personal-care company Beiersdorf down by 0.61 percent.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most-traded share with a turnover of 442.27 million euros (501.18 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
