SKOPJE, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- About 77 percent of Macedonian youth considers emigration due to poor life quality in Macedonia, Marija Risteska, manager of Center for Research and Policy making (CRPM) in Macedonia, said on Wednesday.

The results of the survey were made public during a roundtable on European Integration and Youth Mobility.

According to Risteska, the result of the research show that European integration will not contribute directly to youth emigration, but can have a positive influence on the increase of the human capital, in the sense of providing education, skills and know-how that youth could obtain abroad.

In his speech, Darko Kaevski, director of Youth and Sports Agency from the Macedonian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, underlined that the ministry is implementing the Youth Guarantee program to secure quality jobs for young people, but also practice additional training and other measures for the youth standards improvement.

Risteska explained in the meeting that the survey of the youth aged 15-29 aimed to see whether European integration is related to youth mobility, considering that the European Union has different programs focusing on youth mobility. Enditem
