ADDIS ABABA, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Thursday.
-- Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz arrived, in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa on Thursday for an official visit.
During his visit, Chancellor Kurz will hold discussions with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on aspects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)
-- The Addis Ababa City Administration has finalized preparations to host the 13th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Day that will be celebrated on Saturday. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)
-- The Federal Police have arrested five senior and middle level leadership of Benishangul Gumuz regional state of Ethiopia.
They were detained on suspicion of instigating the conflicts that occurred in Assosa town last June and the recent clash along the borders of the regional states of Oromia and Benishangul Gumuz. (FBC)
