KHARTOUM, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Sunday headed to Belarus for a three-day visit at the invitation by his Belarussian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, official SUNA news agency reported.
Accompanied by a high-level delegation of ministers and businessmen, al-Bashir will discuss with Lukashenko means of developing political and economic ties between the two countries, particularly the manufacture of agricultural machinery, SUNA said.
The two leaders are expected to sign a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding to reactivate bilateral cooperation.
Al-Bashir will inaugurate the Sudanese Embassy in the Belarussian capital of Minsk during the visit. Enditem
