In IFC's 14th meeting held in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, Mutlaq bin Majed al-Qahtani, the special envoy of Qatar's Foreign Minister for Counterterrorism and Mediation of Conflict Resolution as well as IFC chairman, reiterated relative stability of security situations in Darfur.

Al-Qahtani further stressed the need for supporting the implementation of the DDPD and establishment of development projects in Darfur, urging the international community to provide further contributions to achieve it.
