WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to acquire Phoenix Suns forward Trevor Ariza, local media reported on Sunday.
Having lost 22 of their past 26 games, the Suns look to boost their backcourt, while the Lakers hope to boost their offense.
Ariza, 33, was an important contributor to the Houston Rockets' success last season. He signed a one-year, 15-million US dollars deal with Phoenix this summer and is averaging 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season. Enditem
